Placements

Placements enhance your learning by giving you the chance to apply the knowledge and skills developed during course work to a professional environment.

Many courses at CDU have professional placement components where you'll have the opportunity to experience working in your industry or area of study and gain credit points. Your placement might also be referred to as a practical, prac or work-integrated learning.

The information below is mainly relevant to Higher Education students, as TAFE students typically have practical components throughout their whole course.

InPlace is the system we use to manage and communicate all placement requirements. You can access InPlace through your CDU Portal.

For more information about placements, get in touch with Student Central.

You can also find out more about your placement by checking out your relevant faculty page:

Key details:

  • The Government will soon release Program Guidelines that will explain how universities, including CDU, will administer the CPP.
  • Once these guidelines are available, we will provide students with clear instructions on how to access the payment.

More Information:

In the meantime, you can check out the CPP Fact Sheet for further details.
