Awarded to an individual who identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and demonstrates outstanding contributions to the community, their profession and/or whose achievements have positively impacted outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Nominees must comply with the following selection criteria
- Nominations are open to all domestic and international graduates of any Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 1 - 10 vocational education and training course and/or undergraduate or postgraduate program from CDU or its predecessor institutions.
- Nominees must also be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- Evidence of outstanding contributions to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through contributions to public policy, volunteerism or activism, and
- Evidence of outstanding contribution to a profession or industry including visionary leadership, and a commitment to innovation and best practice at a local, national or international level.
