CDU Confucius Institute is very excited to announce the return of the monthly Chinese movie sessions. Movies are like windows; writers and directors use them to present certain specifics of a culture, and people use them as windows to view culture and appreciate its beauty. In recent years, there have been a lot of excellent Chinese movies, which either make the ancient myth of China reappear or showcase modern China.
For our first movie, we will be showcasing Creation of the Gods Ⅰ: Kingdom of Storms, which is a very popular Chinese movie regarding a mythical war that we think you will love.
The screening will be held on Wednesday 14 August 2024 at Orange Building 2, Level 4, Room 24.
