If you have practised Ba Fa Wu Bu (Eight Methods and Five Steps) Tai Chi before, and you wish to continue to strengthen your Tai Chi skills, this Yang-style 24-form Tai Chi is what you are looking for!

Our Tai Chi instructor, Mr Hanlin Lu, holds a Master of Physical Education degree from Anhui Normal University, majoring in Physical Education Teaching. Hanlin possesses extensive teaching experience, specialising in many Tai Chi forms, such as Yang-style, Chen-style, Five-Animal Frolics, as well as other forms of health Qigong.

Yang-style 24-form Tai Chi originates from the traditional Yang-style Tai Chi system. On the basis of preserving core boxing principles and key techniques such as "Peng (ward-off), Lü (roll-back), Ji (press), An (push)", this 24-form Tai Chi style not only inherits the essence of traditional Tai Chi, but also adapts to fast-paced modern life, making it an excellent choice for both beginners to start with traditional Tai Chi and advanced learners to consolidate their foundation.

Join us to learn standard movements from CDU Confucius Institute professional instructors. Sign up now!

The Yang-style 24-Style Tai Chi Chuan consists of a total of 20 sessions, which are divided into two phases, with 10 sessions in each. This is phase one (10 sessions), with phase two (10 sessions) starting next year.

* Please note that these sessions are Tai Chi practice sessions. If you have concerns around your physical ability to participate in these sessions, please consult your health practitioner prior to attending one of these sessions.

Cost: $45, this will include the cost of the Tai Chi costume and access to all four Tai Chi classes.

Venue: Casuarina campus, Red Building 02.1.01 - Gulwa/Austin Asche Hall, Basketball court (TBC)
