Dr Christine Fejo-King graduated from the former Northern Territory University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Social Work. She is a foundation member of the Australian College of Social Work and was Chairperson of the National Coalition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Worker’s Association for 11 years.

As a young boy, Jayson was captivated by the beauty of the Philippine Eagle in photos of the National Geographic Magazine. Fast forward 1996, and Jayson got his dream job at the Philippine Eagle Foundation, where he had the rare opportunity to see the critically endangered Philippine national bird in the wild. This encounter with the bird and its habitat changed his life forever.

Professor Yvonne Cadet-James has 45 years’ experience in the fields of health and education with a background as a registered nurse and midwife, followed by her career as an academic. She has a significant tack record as a researcher in public and indigenous health, and played a major role in national indigenous research reform through representation on national committees, including the National Health and Medical Research Council.
