Thesis Talk is a facilitated academic discussion for HDR candidates to connect to and through ideas, with research peers. Join the monthly session to explore different topics, theories and practicalities. Talk through the nitty-gritty of research practices and reflect on your work.

This 90-minute workshop (online only) will overview several thesis types, with a focus on the macro-, meso-, and micro-structures of each. The session will be relevant to those in the planning stage of their research, but anyone is welcome. 

The Confucius Institute welcomes you to join our four gentlemen of flowers painting sessions on Thursdays from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Come to practice with us and learn how to speak Chinese more fluently and confidently in various contexts. 

Following the Chinese Foundation 1 course, the Chinese Foundation 2 course will take you through the first steps to learning Chinese grammar.

The Confucius Institute welcomes you to join our Eight Brocades (Ba Duan Jin) practice sessions every Monday from 4.45 pm - 6.15 pm. 

Chinese Foundation 1 is an introduction to the Mandarin language delivered by the Confucius Institute. This course will run for eight weeks every Tuesday night from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, starting from 16 July.

Join us for this workshop, where we will introduce and walk you through the ancient and popular form of Tai Chi, Ba Fa Wu Bu.

In this seminar, Clément will present results from a new database of greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations and fluxes in tropical freshwater systems. He will highlight the extreme variability in GHG concentrations and fluxes across the tropics, and the role of small streams, ponds and riparian wetlands as globally significant hotspots of GHG emissions.
