Victor always wanted to travel overseas, so the chance to study his Masters of Information Technology in Darwin was a dream come true. But Victor isn’t the only one who has benefitted from this move. Taking this opportunity for himself, he’s given back to others.

Arriving from Vietnam, Tho studied a Master of Information Technology with CDU while working as a business analyst. She credits her parents’ influence for her motivation to learn and succeed.

After completing a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering in India, Kalyani quickly worked her way up to a leadership position at a local outsourcing organisation. Here, she noticed one critical factor to the ongoing operations of the organisation: information technology.

Growing up in the heart of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Nishat fell in love with books, arts and learning new things. Her parents shared a passion for working in the field of healthcare, so Nishat was determined to work towards a career in medicine.  

Because of travel restrictions, international student Showkat Ara Khan is studying online in her home country of Bangladesh. While she can't be on campus, she’s still making the most of her time online with CDU. 

Sami is dedicated to ensuring his students have the best experience. His forward-thinking approach to learning is reflected in the success and wellness of his students who carry his positive influence long after they graduate.

James Hay is an expert in the industry of cybersecurity. Fuelled by the desire to protect organisations and backed by his CDU studies in IT, he works on the frontline as a silent defender. Nothing gets past him. 

Ambitious all-rounder and tech extraordinaire Naathan Sharma is studying a multitude of engineering and IT courses on offer at CDU. He hopes to one day start an app development company that benefits his local community.
