While studying the Australian education system, Vaninder realised her dream: to become a special education teacher. She aspires to return to India and open a special education school, free to those who need it. There’s nothing that will stop her from reaching her goal. 

Despite previously studying business, Ngoc found herself interested in pursuing a career in teaching. She began looking for a flexible degree that would allow her to become a teacher in Australia.

When Tom wanted to learn more about education systems outside of his home country of China, he tutored and interned across the world. Then Australia and a Master of Teaching at CDU beckoned, where Tom is giving back as much as he's getting. 

Having already studied and worked in economics and accounting, Wesley knew there was something missing. Beyond the numbers, Wesley held a deep passion to teach and share his excitement for life with others. That’s why he re-entered the world of study and enrolled in a Master of Teaching at CDU.

International student, Farhana, is a champion at helping people who are in need, whether that’s in the classroom or through invaluable volunteer work.  Throughout her life, her deep passions have always been education and social development. Thanks to her Master of Teaching at CDU, she has been able to blend the two together. 

When Matt was working in the hospitality industry, he thought he had his career all mapped out. But after one too many long shifts, it turns out that wasn’t the case. A desire for change led him back into the classroom, as a student then teacher. Now he teaches others the skills to follow their dreams. 

Growing up in the heart of Dhaka, Bangladesh, Hasan always had a passion to teach and be a catalyst for change. With a persistent desire to excel, Hasan jumped at the chance to study in Darwin, Australia. 

Sabaratnam’s passion for educating young engineers and helping others has made him an integral part of the community. His selfless nature has earned him respect and admiration at CDU and beyond.

Janine is a lecturer and educator passionate about transformative education that recognises Indigenous language education and positive educational access. And it all started with a Bachelor of Education at CDU.
