CDU was one of the first universities in Australia to offer our Bachelor of Nursing degree remotely (also known as online, external or distance education). We have been teaching this way for nearly 20 years, and we are experts at online education. Many CDU Nursing students choose to study online – even those who are located close to one of our campuses. Our students choose to study this way because they often have other commitments in their life that are equally as (or more!) important than uni.

Overview of teaching pre-placement requirements.
The CDU Sydney campus offers an exceptional learning environment, equipped with cutting-edge teaching and learning facilities.
A mentor teacher provides student access to his or her classroom/learning environment for mentoring and supporting the development of teaching skills.
Most Higher Education units require you to sit an exam at the end of each semester. Exams are held during a two week period, starting one week after teaching ends. Visit important dates for specific exam dates.
Study a teaching degree at Charles Darwin University and make an impact as an educator. Graduate with a nationally-accredited degree so you can teach anywhere in Australia.
