RINA professors Sunil Kadri and Maxine Piggott spoke at the Northern Territory Aquaculture Research, Development and Extension Workshop, which took place in Darwin on 23 and 24 April. The workshop was hosted by RINA with CSIRO, the NT Government, and the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation.

The participants in the workshop discussed NT aquaculture priorities, challenges and future opportunities and how research, development and extension (RD&E) can meet these. They shared information on current NT aquaculture RD&E, and strengthened collaborations through networking.

The workshop included small group discussions about research scoping and how industry needs and current science fit together.
