With more than 15 years of experience working in infrastructure and the built environment in planning, design development and construction Emma’s passion for project management knows no bounds. And it all started with a Business degree at CDU. 

Sabaratnam’s passion for educating young engineers and helping others has made him an integral part of the community. His selfless nature has earned him respect and admiration at CDU and beyond.

When COVID-19 struck, international student Heather was at home in China. She was preparing to study a Master's degree in accounting at CDU in Darwin when borders closed. Heather did not give in; instead, she started studying online.  

Volunteering has been shown to be hugely beneficial to university students, both socially and professionally. CDU international student Nilesh is evidence of this.  

Sustainability is a business buzz word. There’s no doubt about it. But it’s not easily achieved. And so, researchers at CDU are finding new ways to improve.

From bank teller to youth worker, Luke could be considered the jack of all trades! However, his decision to push himself further has brought him back into the world of study, this time to gain vocational training qualifications in business. 

Shuanghong took a chance on herself when she moved from China to Australia to study at CDU. The first person in her village to follow a path to university abroad, CDU’s supportive learning environment and practical work experience has changed the direction of her life. 

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in France, Ellie lived, worked and travelled abroad. She had lots of great experiences, but nothing measured up to studying in Australia. 

This shy business student from Estonia has worked hard to become a representative voice and advocate for international students.
