After receiving an impressive ATAR score, Darwin school leaver Eugenia was going to be spoiled for choice when it came to choosing courses and universities. She didn’t hesitate to stay local and is now kick-starting her accounting career goals at CDU.

After dipping his toes into university with a certificate in baking and fine arts diploma, creative Ben Tyler decided to “bite the bullet” and switch to business. After all, he had started his own side hustle and has big dreams about where it could go.  

Darwin local Nezily has had her hands full. This mum works full-time at a not-for-profit organisation while studying a Master of Business Administration online with CDU. “If I can finish my MBA with all these commitments, so can you!” she says.

Zahid has always aspired to reach the top level of the banking sector and establish his own consultancy firm in his hometown in Bangladesh. On his path to the top, he never forgot his ultimate career goal: finding a way to study accounting abroad. 

Sushan is part of the first generation of his family to receive a formal education and to go to university. His dreams of studying an MBA in Australia were almost lost when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. With CDU, Sushan has been able to study and build a community in Australia without leaving his home in Nepal.

Ellie had grown up in her parents’ business and always knew she wanted to start one of her own. The Master of Business Administration at CDU was the “unexpected and utterly unprecedented experience” that would see her fulfil that ambition and much more.

Without finishing high school, Wendy moved to the NT and started working in hospitality. Her decision to study a VET course at CDU inspired a love of learning, followed by a love of teaching. Turns out, she's pretty good at it! 

Sachin Sharma was a Superintendent of the NT Police when he decided to study a Master of Business Administration online at CDU. It would change his worldview—and his career.
