Rafat completed a finance degree in Dhaka, Bangladesh and moved to Darwin to pursue her masters with CDU. Rafat’s dream was to work with multinational accounting companies and before graduating with CDU, she secured a full-time job with KPMG.

When Niki returned home to China four years ago after a year of volunteering at CDU’s Confucius Institute, she knew one day she’d be back. Well and truly won over by Darwin, it wasn’t long until Niki returned to study a Master of Teaching.

Born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam, Ellie spent her childhood helping her parents manage their retail store. Ellie chose to study an MBA as she wanted to learn key business skills and surround herself with like-minded individuals.

When Matt was working in the hospitality industry, he thought he had his career all mapped out. But after one too many long shifts, it turns out that wasn’t the case. A desire for change led him back into the classroom, as a student then teacher. Now he teaches others the skills to follow their dreams. 

Sachin Sharma was a Superintendent of the NT Police when he decided to study a Master of Business Administration online at CDU. It would change his worldview—and his career. 

After almost a decade of working in diverse multinational organisations, Saba Sadiq had plenty of people skills. A Master of Business Administration gave her the knowledge to harness people management strategy and enter a new dream career in HR.

Ross Cook’s extensive career is testament to his adaptability, skills and caring nature. His study experience with CDU built a greater sense of confidence in his own abilities and what he could achieve. Now he's paying it forward.

Jurse Salandanan's love of paying it forward saw him forming an award-winning organisation in response to COVID-19. He's already contributed significantly to the architectural and international student community, but he's only getting started. 

Rob Law is a staunch advocate for environmental preservation and lobbies for policy change on its behalf. His CDU studies provided the perfect springboard for driving change.
