Darwin Youth Orchestra

Expand your learning and join the Darwin Youth Orchestra
Darwin Youth Orchestra DYO

Kim Shanahan conductor for the Darwin Youth Orchestra (DYO) which will run every Saturday from 2:30pm until 4pm.

Cost: $180 for eight lessons

Duration: 1.5 hours

StandardAMEB Grade 1 - 8 (or equivalent)
Goals

To bring together the finest young musicians from Darwin and surrounding areas to rehearse and perform together under inspiring leadership.

To offer students opportunities to expand their knowledge of orchestral repertoire through broadly based variations and styles of music.

To foster students' interest in music as performers.

PerformancesDYO works towards performances both formal and informal in community settings
