Business

We are thought-leaders in sustainability, emerging markets and responsible business practice.

CDU is committed to sustainable business innovation and builds on Indigenous, local and global knowledge.

Student diversity comprising a range of nationalities, ages and occupations, ensures a rich learning experience and is a key characteristic of our exciting Asia/Pacific regional hub for contemporary Business education.

Internationally recognised academics

At CDU, you will be taught by leading scholars who have worked in businesses and universities across Australia, the Asia Pacific and beyond.

Many of our staff are working on vital research projects, impacting on government policy, business best practice and advancing understanding of customer behaviour. Their work is published in renowned international journals and presented at leading conferences.

Our units are designed and coordinated by CDU academics, guaranteeing a high degree of integrity of academic content.

Flexible study options

Whether you choose to study online or on campus, you'll have the same opportunity to make an impact in the global business market.

We offer a flexible delivery platform with business units taught online and across our Darwin Danala and Sydney centres.  This means you can drop into a class or study online when it suits you.

Our online and on-campus students study at the same time, which means that you can build your networks and learning community, regardless of your mode of delivery.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Our MBA appeals to people seeking a solid grounding in contemporary business practice.

For those wanting to up-skill and for people with several years’ work experience but no undergraduate degree, we offer graduate certificates that provide a pathway to postgraduate study. The MBA is 18 months with an option to do six months of professional practice that often translates into permanent employment.

Professional Practice Program (PPP)

Our MBA has an inbuilt internship where students gain real-world experience. Our graduates are highly valued by employers and many graduate with permanent employment waiting.

Find out more about the Professional Practice Program.
