Entry requirements
Admission criteria
To gain entry into, VTP408 Backflow Prevention Devices candidates require:
- CPC32420 Certificate III in Plumbing or industry equivalent
- NT White Card
- Must have completed the pre-requisite units for CPCPWT4022
- CPCPCM2043 Carry out WHS requirements
- CPCPWT3027 Install backflow prevention devices (most hold pre-requisite units: CPCPCM2043 Carry out WHS requirements, and CPCPCM3023 Fabricate and install non-ferrous pressure piping)
- Sufficient level of literacy and numeracy
Students are required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment)
