This one year professional development course will give you the latest educational and research perspectives to develop your analytical thinking, collaborative learning and transformative practice skills in localised, national and/or international settings.
This flexible course can be completed online or on campus, full-time or part-time, and can be personalised to meet your personal, organisational, workplace and community interests.

International tuition fees
The annual tuition fee for full time study in 2025 is AUD $29,784.00. This equates to $ $3,723.00 per 10 credit point unit (0.125 EFTSL).
These fees are subject to increases annually, effective at the start of each calendar year.

What will I study?
The Graduate Diploma of Specialist Education offers two core units, which equip students with contemporary educational and research perspectives and approaches. The programme also offers a choice of specialist areas encompassing Digital Learning Futures, Inclusive Education, Indigenous Knowledges Education, International Education, Managing and Leading Education, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), or University Teaching and Learning.
Course structure
A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 80 credit points (cp) as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless otherwise indicated.
