During the workshop, attendees will be working on examples provided by the facilitator. Participants are encouraged to watch videos that have been pre-recorded before attending the workshop. This session will focus on guiding participants through the workshop materials and practising with the materials. These materials will be given upon registration.
There will be an opportunity for attendees to request assistance regarding their own thesis during a drop-in session that will take place in June.

About the speaker:
Dr Christopher Lawson is an expert consultant for scientic services for professional data analysis, writing and editing. His current research is focused on energetics, ecology, physiology and biomechanics - mainly of elasmobranchs. He has a background in biotechnology, marine science and fisheries, and uses quantitative analysis and models to understand natural systems from individuals to ecosystems.
Chris lectures at the University of Queensland for Wildlife Management, and also works in teaching roles across fieldwork and laboratory work for a range of statistics, physiology, ecology and professional courses.
