CDU continues to advance our Strategic Plan to become Australia’s most connected University by being courageous and Making a Difference in the NT, Australia and beyond.
In 2023, this allowed us to graduate over 2,700 students from degree education courses, over 1,800 students from TAFE courses.
These students are ready to make a difference in the NT and beyond - with graduates already working in their chosen fields.
Regarding research outputs and achievements, CDU worked on over 238 research projects, was awarded over $68 Million in research funding and graduated 50 higher-degree by research students in 2023.
With courage, CDU continues to grow our courses to meet future workforce needs. For example, in 2024 we have introduced a Masters of Artificial Intelligence.
The generous support of CDU donors provided over 100 scholarships in 2023 and we were pleased to welcome new individual and corporate donors. Nothing beats hearing the good news stories from these scholarship recipients and that’s why each year we bring together our scholarship recipients and their donors to meet each other.
Beyond scholarships, our donors funded CDU’s innovative
Year 11 Science Experience Program for High School students and in doing so inspired the Territory’s brightest highschoolers in STEM.
CDU’s Guardians of Greek Language and Culture program supported students in Country Study Program – the first time the program has been able to run since 2019.
As it nears the end of financial year, we warmly invite you to consider giving a tax-deductible gift to CDU’s Making a Difference Appeal to help us address our most critical priorities and respond confidently to any new challenges and opportunities.
Gifts to Making a Differenceinfluence CDU life in so many ways. They provide CDU with flexibility to quickly address new student projects and initiatives, and respond to new opportunities to strengthen our students’ training or research experience.
