Overview



This short course will benefit people who regularly encounter snakes in their work and living spaces or individuals would like to enhance their knowledge of snakes and reptiles in Australia. CDUs Snake ID, Capture and Relocation training sets the standard for safely working with snakes in Australia and is suitable for people without any experience in dealing with wildlife. This two day course will cover;

  • Safely working with venomous and non-venomous reptiles.
  • Introduction to snake ecology and methods for snake identification.
  • Snakebite First Aid.

During this course, students will engage in practical experience with live snakes, which includes safe handling, restraint and relocation techniques.
