Overview
In this short course, you will have the opportunity to explore tropical gardens to learn how to recognise tropical native and exotic plants, using botanical skills, how to make new plants through propagation suitable for Top End gardens. To ensure a successful tropical gardening experience, you will learn the best practices to plant trees and shrubs and installing appropriate irrigation for varied tropical plant-s needs.
Students enrolling in this short course have an established interest in sustainable food production and therefore already have existing knowledge and skills and are using this course to up-skill.

You are required to wear enclosed shoes during the course, and appropriate clothing such as: a hat, long pants, sleeved shirt with collar and a water bottle.
