Social scientists have increasingly shown how qualitative research can be an emotional experience for researchers.
How will this experience affect the research process? What can be done to manage this emotional experience?
This workshop aims to provide research students with opportunities to reflect on their experience as qualitative researchers and on the practice of qualitative research.
It also provides practical recommendations to manage emotions faced by researchers during the conduct of qualitative research on sensitive topics, helping HDR students focus on writing their reflexive analysis and discussions.
*This workshop is a part of the Research Enhancement Program.
Registration is essential. Please register by Thursday, 3 March, 4.30 PM (Darwin time).
