This online workshop covers the basics of grounded theory. Participants will be introduced to some common techniques such as theoretical sampling, and line-by-line coding.
This workshop is appropriate as an introduction for research students interested in developing specialized analytic skills in grounded theory. The techniques are particularly useful for researchers using inductive, grounded, ethnographic, and exploratory approaches.
About the speaker:
A/Prof Gretchen Ennis is a Social Research & Evaluation Specialist. She has spent over a decade as a social worker and community-academic. Gretchen is an experienced social work and community development practitioner, educator, social researcher, evaluation consultant, musician and art-maker.
