Since 2022, Dr. Attawet has been a Nursing Lecturer at CDU's Sydney Campus, specializing in perioperative nursing. Her research encompasses a wide range of healthcare topics including Public Health, Health Promotion in vulnerable populations, and Reproductive Health. Additionally, she explores perioperative nursing in depth. Dr. Attawet currently supervises a PhD student working on a project to develop a system for managing delayed hospital discharges in surgical wards, and an Honors degree student investigating the challenges faced by international nursing students during clinical placements. She has also successfully secured an internal grant to develop an assessment tool that enables perioperative nurses to gauge their confidence in handling medical emergencies. Furthermore, Dr. Attawet leads several projects and is a member of the Planetary Health.
