Overview
In this course, you will access geographical information and incorporate it onto maps for use in land management. It relates to extracting, comparing, and manipulating data in response to customer requests. it supports those whose job role includes preparing maps by hand or by using geographical information Systems (GIS) for land management purposes. You will be assessed using various methods including quizzes, a portfolio of mapping activities, projects, and activity and communication logs.

Entry requirements
Admission criteria
Knowledge of Microsoft-based computer skills is required; these include but are not limited to word processing, file explorer functions, email access, and use and the ability to familiarise yourself with new software platforms such as GIS software and the CDU Learnline platform.
To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.
