Overview



This skill set is suitable for people who use pesticides and agricultural chemicals with powered and hand-held application equipment, and require chemical user accreditation.

Successful completion of this skill set meets the requirements for National Chemical User Accreditation programs such as AusChem. If you require this accreditation, please discuss your options with the trainer or training coordinator.

Entry requirements

Admission criteria

There are no eligibility or entry requirements for this Skillset according to the Training Package. However, students require literacy skills relevant to reading and interpreting chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and numeracy skills for completing calibration calculations. 

To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.
