The Cairnmillar Supervision Hub is a suite of resources and activities to enhance the performance of supervisors and leaders.  The hub comprises four main strands, designed to support

These resources and activities are derived from the latest advances and discoveries in science—but then modified creatively to suit the needs of busy supervisors.  Here are some examples of these resources and activities

  • A sequence of actions that supervisors may complete to reach suitable decisions
  • Applies the latest advances in optimal portfolio management, paradoxical thinking, multiple-criteria decision making, and unconscious decision making

Remarkable remarks during board meetings

  • A repository of insights that members of boards or committees can utilise to contribute more effectively during meetings
  • Derived from an analysis of over 500 boards and committees

Rapid skills

  • Imparts skills that can be developed within one hour but seem more challenging
  • Examples include rapid techniques to analyse text data, to apply machine learning, and to write more persuasively
  • Includes modules to assist clinical supervisors, research supervisors, and team leaders

Job matching

  • A database that matches the skills and preferences of job applicants with the needs and culture of organisations

How do I pay?

 

You can access the first three months of this hub at no cost.  After this time, you can choose one of two innovative payment methods.

Pay a percentage of your savings

Suitable when an organisation wants to arrange access to over 100 staff

The organisation pays only 25% of the funds they save because of a decrease in sick leave

Pay if you utilise the resources

Suitable when supervisors want to pay only when they utilise the resources

Individual supervisors pay a monthly fee of $50—but this fee is refunded during months in which supervisors do not utilise the resources

Pay if you want recognition

Suitable when supervisors want their participation with this hub recognised

Individual supervisors pay a monthly fee of $50—and can receive various levels of accreditation, depending on their participation and contributions to this site
