This page is used to create or maintain generic 'statements' (i.e. specific text) that may be included in Australian Higher Education Graduation Statements (AHEGS) or other publications.
A Statement is a generic statement that is categorised using one of the following System Statement Types which is used during the Communication process to determine where to insert the statement (for example, in which section of the AHEGS Template to insert the statement):
Depending on the System Statement Type to which it is mapped, a Statement regarding an award can be associated to the following pages:
The relationship between these pages and GRDW0300 is illustrated in the Related Pages section, below.
Substitution Tags are created (via CORW0400) for each specific statement that is to be inserted into a section of the AHEGS Template (CORW0500) or another type of publication. A list of some of the Substitution Tags is provided in the Related Pages section, below.

The following diagram shows related Statement pages as well as connecting pages from the Graduation and Correspondence subsystems that are involved in the process of creating an AHEGS.
Award Statements created on the GRDW0300 page can be used in one or more related Statement pages (with the exception of GRDW0400) which are used to create more specific text for inclusion in an AHEGS.
For a Statement to be included in an AHEGS, a Substitution Tag must be created (via CORW0400) to record an SQL statement that that will call the Statement details when the AHEGS is produced. Statements are called in hierarchical order according to the order specified in the Substitution Tags. An SQL statement can be edited at any time to change the Statement information required in the AHEGS.
Substitution Tags are created (via CORW0400) for each specific statement that is to be inserted into a section of the AHEGS Template (CORW0500). The following table lists some of the Substitution Tags that may apply:
