INQF1300 - Student Exam Inquiry  

This form is used to retrieve and display Exam details for all units for which the student will be or has been examined for an Exam Calendar period.

This screen is accessed:

• directly from the Main menu, or
• from the Student Course Attempt Inquiry form (INQF1200) via the Exam Timetable button, or
• from the Person Inquiry form (INQF1A00) via the Exam Timetable button.

The screen is divided into three blocks:

• Person
• Exam Calendar
• Exam Detail
  • Overflow blocks: Other Exam Detail and Course Details

Person Block

Displays information about the student selected by the query. Enter a Person ID or use any of the other field in this block to find a student. Alternatively, click on the Find Person icon to display the Find Person screen (ADMF1211) where more complex queries can be used to locate a student.

A lamp in the Exam Calendar block indicates the last Extract Date on which the Exam Timetable was created.

Exam Calendar Block

Displays Exam Calendars where the student has an Exam Instance. The display defaults to the latest Exam Calendar.

A query may be performed to select a single Exam Calendar.

A lamp in the Examination Detail block indicates if the exam is a serial examination ('Timeslot Exam'), if the start time has been overridden ('Location Start Time Offset'), or if the exam is designated as a quarantined examination ('Special Session').

Exam Detail block

Displays all the student’s Exam Instances for all units in which the student is/was enrolled, within an Exam Calendar.

A lamp in the Course Details block indicates if the student has taken an alternate exit for this course.

Other Exam Detail and Course Details Overflow blocks:

Course Details and Exam Details buttons toggle between the Other Exam Detail and Course Detail Overflow areas.

• Other Exam Detail area – Displays further details at Unit Attempt Level and includes venue and timeslot details.
• Course Details area – Displays further details at Course Attempt level.

Buttons:

• Person Inquiry button – Navigates to the Person Inquiry form (INQF1A00), which displays further details about the student.
• Assessment Item button - Navigates to the Assessment Items form (ASSF2100), which displays details of the Unit Assessment item for the particular Assessment Type/Reference.
• Venue Address button – Navigates to the Venue Address form (ASSF4201), which displays the address of the venue.

To View Exam Instances within an Exam Calendar

Perform one of the following actions:

• Scroll through the retrieved Exam Calendars using the down and up arrow keys.
• Select a particular Exam Calendar by performing a query on the Calendar Type and using the List of Values button to select the required Exam Calendar.

To View Further Details of an Exam Instance

Perform one of the following actions:

• Select one of the Exam Instances displayed in the Exam Detail block, and click on the Course Details or Exam Details button to toggle between the 'Other Exam Detail' and 'Course Detail' overlay blocks, respectively.
• Click on the Person Inquiry button to access the Person Inquiry form (INQF1A00) and view further details about the student.
• Click on the Assessment Item button to access the Asessement Items form (ASSF2100) and view details of the particular Assessment Item.
• Click on the Venue Address button to access the Venue Addresses form (ASSF4201) and view the address of the Exam Venue.
