ASSF4201 - Maintain Venue Addresses

Purpose

To allow the recording of Addresses for Venues

Venue Address

 

This form is used to record addresses for a venue. Venue addresses are used in reports such as the Exam Venue Allocation report (ASSR0680) and the Exam Supervisor Labels report (ASSR1060). Multiple addresses may be recorded, one of which may be a Correspondence Address.

The form is entered in context via the Venue Addresses in Maintain Venues (ASSF4200).

The Venue block contains:

  • Venue Code
  • Number of Seats
  • Description
  • Location Code

The Venue Address block contains:

  • Address Type
  • Description
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Contact Person
  • Number & Street
  • Suburb/Town
  • Sate/Region
  • Country
  • Overseas Postcode
  • Phone
  • Business Phone
  • Facsimile
 

Record the following details:

Venue Addresses (bottom block)

  • Address Type
    Select the Address Type
  • Start Date
    The Start Date for the venue contact address is automatically set as the current date, however this can be modified
  • End Date
  • Enter the End Date. This is optional however, only one address of each Address Type may be left open ended
  • Contact Person
    Record the venue's Contact Person

Record the address details. The details required differ according to the Address Type selected.

Queries can be performed on Address Types.

Rules/Notes:

Only one address record of the same Address Type may be open.

Address date overlaps cannot occur for the same Address Type.

Only one correspondence address can be current across all Address Types.
