Purpose

To allow the recording of institution-defined Tertiary Education Level Of Qualification Codes.

Use this form to record institution-defined Tertiary Education Level Of Qualification codes. Statuses might include TBA, TCM, TGC, THD, TOA, TPD and TRM.

These codes are used in ADMF32B0 (accessed via ADMF3000) to indicate the level of qualification attributed to an applicants previous tertiary education.

Each code may optionally be mapped to a Tertiary Admission Centre (TAC) Level Of qualification (maintained in ADMF02U0). This permits data supplied by TAC to be converted into institution defined values for recording against an applicant.

The Tertiary Education Level Of Qualification block contains:

• Tertiary Education Level Of Qualification
• Description
• Tertiary Admission Centre Level Of Qualification
• Closed check box

It is recommended that where the TAC supply this information, the mapping of Institution codes to TAC codes be a one-to-one relationship. It is also recommended that wherever practicable, TAC codes should also be used for the Institution-defined codes.

Rules/Notes:

Once used in the System, Tertiary Education Level Of Qualification codes cannot be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use.

Once used in the System, only minor description modifications should be carried out.
