Purpose

To allow the recording of an applicants Prior Tertiary Education details.

This form is used to record an applicants Prior Tertiary Education attempts.

This form is accessed through (ADMF3000), via the Tertiary Ed button (middle block).

When navigating to this form from ADMF3000, the Person block in this form displays details of the applicant selected in ADMF3000.

Record known Prior Tertiary Education details for the displayed applicant.

The Person block contains:

• Person ID
• Sex
• Date Of Birth

Rules/Notes:

The Course Title and Qualification attributes in the second block, allows up to 100 characters to be recorded.

The Anticipated Completion Date in the second block, allows a Completion Date to be recorded.

The Verification Details Tab allows the capture of a Verification Status and related Verification Status Audit details.

The GPA scale in the Qualification Tab, allows the scale used for the GPA score to be recorded.

The Institution GPA in the Qualification Tab, allows the institution to record its equivalent GPA for the GPA score provided.

The Institution GPA scale in the Qualification Tab, allows the scale used for the institution GPA score to be recorded.

The Exclusion Comments in the Comments Tab allows comments regarding exclusions to be recorded.

The Assessment Comments in the Comments Tab allows additional assessment specific information about an applicant's Tertiary Education Qualification to be recorded.

Validations are:

• Prior Tertiary Education cannot be given a Closed Verification Status
• Exclusion Comments can only be recorded when the Exclusion check box is set in the Prior Tertiary Education block
• The Anticipated Completion Date can only be entered when the Qualification does not have a ‘completed’ level of completion
• One of either Course Code or Course Title must be entered

When more than one Prior Tertiary Education record is defined for a person, a lamp appears in the Prior Tertiary Education block indicating which record is displayed and the total number of records.

All fields relate to the applicant's Prior Tertiary Education.

Mandatory fields are Level Of Completion and Institution Course Code.

Language Component refers to prior Tertiary Studies which had a Language component.

The Exclusion check box indicates whether or not the applicant was refused Enrolment in prior studies.

Selecting the Units button (bottom block), displays an overlay in which details of prior Units studied may be recorded.

Rules/Notes:

Where a list of values is available, only values from that list can be inserted in the field. Other fields permit any value to be entered.

Records cannot be created here for the 'local' institution.

Closed Language Component, Country Code, Honours and Field Of Study values can be used in a Prior Tertiary Education record.
