After selecting the content of the proposal the user must define the proposal timeline and description.
The user enters the the year and if required the teaching period and then proposal description. If the the year or teaching period is updated, the dates against the creation Submit Date, Final Review Date and Start to Teach date are automatically updated.
During the creation of a new proposal, this page is invoked after Proposal Method Selection.
It may also be invoked via the Change Timeline button toolbar link from PAAW1100 and PAAW1170 during Proposal Development (DRAFT status).
After submission this page can be viewed via the Timelines toolbar link in PAAW1120.

Teaching Period: | Teaching Period in that Academic Year (Field only displays for UNIT and USERDEF proposals). [CAL_INSTANCE_TEACH_PERIOD_V.ALTERNATE_CODE or if no value, then CAL_INSTANCE_TEACH_PERIOD_V.CAL-TYPE] |
Creation Date: | The Date the proposal was created. [PROPOSAL_INSTANCE.CREATION_DT or if no value, then SYSDATE when timeline details are recorded.] |
Submit Date | The date that the proposal was submitted. [PROPOSAL_INSTANCE.SUBMIT_DT |
Final Review Date: | This date is derived according to calendar values entered above. This takes the value for the academic calendar for the date alias recorded for the Final Date Alias recorded in PAAW0100. [PROPOSAL_INSTANCE.DESCRIPTION] |
Start to Teach: | Derived according to calendar values entered above. [PROPOSAL_INSTANCE].DESCRIPTION |
Note: The Year and Teaching Periods available in the drop down lists on this page may be controlled by customisable views based on the Proposal Type, as selected by the proposer. For further information refer to the Callista Product Centre - wiki.callista.com.au/display/CPC.
This value displays if the the proposal type has the Proof of Concept Required check box selected in PAAW0200.

Where this is a proposal for a new curriculum item, the proposer should record a meaningful description here. Where this proposal is based on, or is an an update of an existing Curriculum item, details of that curriculum item, including version details, may be passed into this field. Note: If the user is creating a proposal based on another proposal instance, then any proposal element attachment records that exist in the source Proposal Instance will also be copied to the new Proposal Instance during creation.
