Structure Block Entitlement Status

This form is used to record the Institution-defined codes for the status of a student's Entitlement.

These Entitlement Statuses, together with their System Outcome Types, are available for selection in ADMF0300. In that form they will have a percentage range associated with them.
The Outcome Text forms the text for warnings to indicate declining student SLE entitlements. This appears in reports and ADMF3240 and ENRF3000. (If no overide outcome is defined in ADMF0300.)

Note: Student Learning Entitlement (SLE) was abolished on 1 January 2012, there is no longer a limit on the amount study a Commonwealth supported student can undertake. Hence these statuses probably will no longer be useful.

The Entitlement Status block contains:

  • Entitlement Status
  • Description
  • System Outcome Type (LOV)
  • Closed check box
  • Outcome Text

Rules/Notes:

Entitlement Status must be a unique value

Available System Outcome Types are:

  • NO OUTCOME - where no warning is required
  • WARNING - where there is an issue
  • CRITICAL - serious review and action required

An Outcome Text entry is required for all Statuses which have a System Outcome Type of WARNING or CRITICAL.

To create a new Entitlement Status record:

  • Go to ADMF0390.
  • Type in the name for the new Entitlement Status.
  • Enter a description for the Entitlement Status.
  • Select the System Outcome Type to which this Entitlement Status will be mapped.
  • If the System Outcome Type is WARNING or CRITICAL, then record the text to be displayed in lamps and reports.
  • Save this record.

Rules/Notes:

The Outcome Text recorded in this form may be overridden for a particular Student Entitlement Position by the the Override Text recorded in ADMF0300.
