Overview

On this page you can direct where (in Callista SMS) to source the address of a person to whom a communication is addressed.
A different Address location may be specified for communications with different priorities.
e.g. Priority 1 communication may be addressed to a person's email address recorded in their Person Details (ADMF1213) and Priority 2 communication may be directed to an email address recorded as part of one of that person's Address details recorded in ENRF3030.

Locations in Callista SMS from where address details are sourced:

• AP-APPL - Email address recorded in the AP_APPLICANT table. (see Applicant Portal)
• PERSON - Email address recorded in the PERSON table (see ADMF1213)
• PRSN-PRF-D - Default email address stored in the PERSON_PREFS table (see SECF0066).
• PRSN-PRF-J - Default job notification email address in PERSON_PREFS table (see SECF0066).
• PRSN-DLV - Email address recorded in PERSON_DLVRY_TYPE_DSTNTN table (see PDELTYPDST in Student Connect).
• PRSN-ADDR - Multiple columns in PERSON_ADDR table that may store email address details (see ENRF3030).

Field Descriptions

With different combinations of System Communication Source Category and System Communication Type, a different set of Communication Sources is displayed in the table below.

The records displayed in the Communication Source table cannot be re-sorted. They will always appear in descending order of Priority. Selected records can be moved up or down by clicking on the Move Up or Move Down buttons, or dragging and dropping the rows. Different fields will display depending on the System Communication Source.

Adding a System Communication Source

1. Select the required System Communication Source Category and System Communication Type and then click on the Add button.
   
2. When the Add System Communication Sources pop up displays, select the new System Communication Source.
3. If the System Communication Source is PRSN-ADDR, add Address Type and Address Option values.
   
4. Click on the Add button to save the record. The Priority will be 1 and the Priority values for existing records will be incremented.
5. Adjust the Priority sequence using the Move Up and Move down buttons
6. Click Close and the new record and sequence will be saved.

Deleting a System Communication Source

1. Select the required System Communication Source Category and System Communication Type, and then select the System Communication Source record to be deleted.
2. Click on Remove.
3. The record will be removed and those records below it will be shuffled up to replace it in the priority list.

Editing a System Communication Source

1. Select the required System Communication Source Category and System Communication Type values.
2. Select the System Communication Source record to be edited and click on the Edit button.
3. Change the System Communication Source record to the required value.
   Note: If the System Communication Source is PRSN-ADDR then the Address Type and Address Options can also be updated.
4. Click Save and the updated record will be saved.
