Explanation

This form is used to record and maintain the set of government Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander codes. Universities are required to report to government, for each student, whether they are of Australian Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander descent. The codes for reporting this data are specified in the DEST manual (element 316). Where a set of user defined Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander codes has been defined (ENRF0150), each must be mapped to a particular Government Aboriginal/Torres St Islander Code.
