This form is used to apply unit sets to course offering options. Typically, it is used to delete one or more pre-existing unit sets established in CRSF1280, which are not available within a particular course offering option.

The form can be accessed in several ways:

  • Generally via the Course Offering Option Unit Set button in the Maintain Course Offering Options form (CRSF1400).
  • Via the Course Offering Option Unit Sets button in the Maintain Course Offering Unit Sets form (CRSF1280).
  • Via the menu.

When entering the form through either navigation buttons, the course offering option details are displayed in context in the Course Offering Options block. Unit sets that have previously been assigned to the course offering options are also displayed in the Course Offering Option Unit Set block.

Queries can only be performed in the Course Offering Option block when accessed through the menu. When the form is entered in context via navigation button, queries cannot be performed on Course Offering. Exit to return to CRSF1400 or CRSF1280 to select a different course offering before returning to this form.

For further details on the use of unit sets, refer to the Course Structure and Planning overview.

Unit sets can be applied to course offering options and queries performed on the unit sets previously attached.

To apply a unit set to a course offering option:

  • Enter a known unit set code; or
  • Select a unit set from the LOV. The unit set codes displayed in the LOV are restricted to those that have been applied to the course offering in CRSF1280.

Queries can be performed on unit sets within a course offering option. Selecting the Include Expired Unit Sets indicator or the Include Inactive Unit Sets indicator displays active unit sets and unit sets that are unavailable for enrolment.

Rules:

  • The Include Inactive Unit Sets indicator cannot be selected without selecting the Include Expired Unit Sets.
