This form is used to create and maintain the hierarchical relationship structure that may exist between unit sets within a course offering. Relationships are created between unit sets to assist in defining the path of study and progression of student course attempts. For example: in order to study a particular Minor, a student must also be taking its superior Major unit set. This form is entered via the Course Offering Unit Set Relationship button in the Maintain Course Offering Unit Sets form (CRSF1280). The form is entered in context displaying the course offering unit set in the Course Offering Unit Set block. Any previously attached superior and subordinate unit sets are also displayed. For further details on the use of unit sets refer to the Unit Sets section in the Course Structure and Planning overview. |
