Purpose

To maintain institution-defined Government Predominant Delivery Mode values.

The Government Predominant Delivery Mode is associated with Delivery Type records in CRSF11L0 to provide additional information in the Training Activity file (NAT00120). This field indicates the largest or only component of delivery for a Unit Offering.

The following are the Predominant Delivery Mode values in the initial AVETMISS classification scheme:

Rules/Notes

The Government Predominant Delivery Mode which is associated with the Delivery Type defined to the Unit Offering Option is reported within the Training Activity (NAT00120) file via the Government Submission Snapshot and File creation jobs.

To create a new Government Predominant Delivery Mode:

• Enter Insert mode.
• Enter the new Delivery Mode code in the Government Predominant Delivery Mode field of a blank record.
• Enter a description of the Government Predominant Delivery Mode in the Description field.
• Save.

Rules/Notes:

Institution-defined Government Predominant Delivery Mode codes MUST be unique. 

To modify a Government Predominant Delivery Mode:

• Find the record to be modified.
• Modify the description, as required.
• Save.

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a Government Predominant Delivery Mode should not be modified, unless to update the description.

To close a Government Predominant Delivery Mode:

• Find the record to be closed.
• Select the Closed check box for this record.
• Save.

Rules/Notes:

You Cannot close Government Predominant Delivery Mode record while there are open institution-defined Delivery Type records that use it in CRSF11L0.
