Each Delivery Type is mapped to a Government Delivery Type. Delivery Types are used to categorise Unit Offering Options. The mapping to a Government Delivery Type is used to derive the mode of delivery for a unit of competency/module enrolment as used in the AVETMISS reporting. See Understanding VET Statistics for details. The following table provides an example of how an institution might configure Delivery Types and their association with Government Delivery Types and Government Predominant Delivery Modes.
This form is nvoked from the main menu or from STAF112O where the Government Delivery Type would be passed in context. |
Delivery Type block:
|
Rules/Notes The Government Delivery Type which is associated with the Delivery Type defined to the Unit Offering Option is reported to the Delivery Mode Identifier element within the Training Activity (NAT00120) file via the Government Submission Snapshot and File creation jobs. The Government Delivery Type is recorded as a combination of ‘Y’ and ‘N’ to represent Internal, External, Workplace-based or a mix of these modes. e.g. if workplace based the value recorded would be NNY. This form also enables recording of a Government Predominant Delivery Mode for a Delivery Type to provide additional information when reporting to NCVER, indicating the largest or only component of delivery for a Unit Offering. The values available for selection here are defined in STAF113G. |
