To create a new Government ABS Classification record using the Maintain Government Discipline Groups form:

Rules/Notes: ABS Classification Categories are defined in STAF1138. Closed ABS Classification Category values can not be mapped to a Government ABS Classification To map an institution-defined code to this Government ABS Classification, click on the button to go to STAF113A and in that form record the the local code for the ABS Classification and map it to this Government ABS Classification. |
To delete a Government ABS Classification:

Rules/Notes: If an institution-defined ABS Classification code has been mapped to this Government ABS Classification, it cannot be deleted. It can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box. |
To modify a Government ABS Classification :
|
Rules/Notes: A Government ABS Classification record should only be modified where the change is to correct an incorrectly entered Description. A new Government ABS Classification record should be created. A Government ABS Classification record can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box. |
