This page is used to create and maintain institution-defined Precedent Sources which are used when creating a Precedent (PRDW0400) to indicate on what basis the Precedent is to be created. For example, Precedents can be created based on a formal agreement between two teritary education institutions, such as an Articulation Agreement.
As the Precedent Source varies amongst institutions, specific Precedent Sources are able to be defined on this page by an institution to suit their requirements.
Precedent Sources created on this page are not mapped to a System Precedent Source.
This page is a Reference Data page that is used to set up data required for Precedents. Precedent Sources created here comprise the List of Values for the Precedent Source field located in the General Details step when creating a Precedent (PRDW0400).
To use this page, it is expected that you will be an administrator who is authorised to establish Reference data for Precedents.
