PAAW1160 - Proposal Attachments

Overview

This page may allow you to add, remove or view an attachment to a Proposal Element. The ability to add or remove attachments is passed from PAAW1120 if the structure is read-only in that page then the add and remove attachment options are not available in the tool bar in PAAW1160. The attachments are always viewable on this page.

A list of attachments for the context element is displayed on this page. These records cannot be edited. e.g. The comment cannot be updated.

The Attachments icon is only available if a Document Type has been related for the element in PAAW0200.

Navigation

In the Proposal Instance page (PAAW1100), click on the Attachments link in the toolbar.

In the Proposals Content page (PAAW1120), click on the Attachment icon adjacent to the element.

Field Descriptions

The table displaying current attachments for the proposal instance element or proposal instance contains the columns as show below::

Field: Description:
File The name of the attachment file. Click on the name to open the attachment.

DOCUMENT.FILENAME
Document Type The description of the Document Type of the attachment, as recorded for the Document Type in GENF0100.

DOCUMENT_TYPE.DESCRIPTION
Name The name of the user who uploaded the attachment.
Uploaded on The date on which the file was uploaded. Display only.

PROPOSAL_INSTANCE_ELEMENT_DOC.CREATION_DT
Comments Comment recorded when the file was uploaded. Display only. Only the first 100 characters of the comment will display.

To Add an Attachment

  1. Click on the attachment link in PAAW1100 or PAAW1120.
  2. Click on the Add button to display the Add Attachment popup.
  3. Select the Document Type.
  4. Add comments if required. These be displayed in the list of attachments as described in the table above.
  5. Browse for the file
  6. Click on the Add button.
  7. Click on the Close link to close the Attachments page.

To View an Attachment

  1. Click on the attachment link in PAAW1100 or PAAW1120.
  2. Click on the file name in the list
  3. Note you may need to modify your Browser settings in order to display the attachment. (See top of Browser window).
  4. Click on the Add button.
  5. Click on the Close link to close the Attachments page.

To Remove an Attachment

  1. Click on the attachment link in PAAW1100 or PAAW1120.
  2. Select the attachment that you wish to remove.
  3. Click on the Remove button.
  4. Click on the Close link to close the Attachments page.

Related Pages...

Document Types are defined in GENF0100. Only Document Types with a System Document Type of PROPOSAL can be used in proposals. The description recorded for the Document Type displays on this page. GENF0100 needs to contain at least one unclosed PROPOSAL document type.

Document Types available for an element in this page are restricted to the Documents Types defined for the context Proposal Type in PAAW0200.
