This form is used to record institution defined Unit Set Categories. These Codes are used to indicate the Type of Unit Set in the Maintain Unit Set Form (CRSF4200). Codes might include CORE, MAJOR, STREAM, DBL-MAJOR, MINOR, SPECLISATN. Each Code must have a Rank assigned. The Unit Set Category Rank defaults to 1 and can be altered. The Unit Set Rank is used primarily to define the sequence in which Unit Sets are displayed. For example: transcripts of results. The Rank also determines whether a Unit Set can be a Primary Set within the Maintain Student Unit Set Attempt form (ENRF3252). Examples of Unit Set Categories and Rank:

Rules/Notes: Once used in the System, Unit Set Categories cannot be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use. Once used in the System, only minor description modifications should be performed. Selection of the Available for Self Enrolment check box will make Course Offering Unit Sets of the specified category, available for Unit Set enrolment and enquiry via Callista Connect, unless availability is overridden at the Course Offering Unit Set Level (CRSF1280). Selection of the Available for Applicant Portal check box will make Course Offering Unit Sets of the specified category, available for the Applicant Portal, unless availability is overridden at the Course Offering Unit Set Level (CRSF1280). Once used in the System, the Unit Set Rank should not be modified. |
