This form is used to manually record Student Unit Attempt Outcomes. There are two main screens in ASSF5330. The first screen has two blocks (Mark Sheet and Unit Offering Option), and one button (Enter Grades). On entrying details and selecting the Enter Grades button, the 2nd of the two main screens is displayed, called Mark/Grade Entry block. This has three buttons called Finish Entry, Add Student and Add Non-Enrolled Student. The last one, Add Non-Enrolled Student button, opens ASSF5333 form. The configuration of the Mark/Grade Entry screen is defined in the Maintain Entry Configuration form (ASSF01K0). The operation of this form differs depending on whether grades are being entered for a particular result sheet or Unit Offering Option. The Mark Sheet and Unit Offering Option blocks are not queryable. Grades and marks that have been saved are not displayed in this form when the form is re-entered or records queried to avoid confusion where double-keying is used. A KEYED lamp is displayed to the right of the record where a result has previously been recorded for it. For further details on the manual recording of results refer to Assessments for the Subsystem Specialist. |

Rules/Notes If the grade has the Record Grade Only check box selected in ASSF5110 then an error message will display and a mark cannot be recorded for that grade. |
Mark Sheet block Using the Sheet Number: Enter the Sheet Number. (Refer to Assessments for the Subsystem Specialist for further details on sheets). Select the Enter Grades button to display the Mark/Grade Entry screen. The screen will display the students enrolled at the time the Mark Sheet was produced. They are displayed in either Person ID or Name order, depending on the order they are displayed on the screen. If the ID Check field is displayed, enter the last two digits of the Person ID. This field is used as a check that the details recorded are for the correct person. The cursor will then advance to the Mark field (if displayed) or the Grade field. If the Mark field is displayed, record the students mark. This field may have been configured to be mandatory. If so, a Mark must be entered if the Grade has a Mark Range in the Grading Schema. To move the cursor from the Mark field to the Grade field use the tab key. Enter the students' Grade. This is not necessary if the form has been configured to derive the grade from the mark. To advance to the next student, hit the next record key (down arrow) or the next record button in the tool bar. Where results are to be re-keyed and a result different from the existing result is keyed, a dialogue box is displayed alerting the user to the two different results. Both original and keyed results are displayed, and the user is prompted to choose either the original or keyed result by selecting the relevant button. Student Unit Attempt Outcomes are frequently handwritten at the bottom of result sheets. In such cases, students may be added to the Mark/Grade Entry screen if they are enrolled in the context Unit Offering. To add a student to the list who was enrolled in the Unit Location/Mode after the Mark sheet was produced:
The Add Non-Enrolled Student button invokes the Add Non-Enrolled Student Outcome form (ASSF5333) where details of students who have been added to the result sheet but are not displayed in the Mark/Grade Entry screen (and cannot be selected via the Add Person button) can be recorded. |

Unit Offering Option block Using the Unit Offering Option Details block: Enter the Unit Offering Option details. Select the Sort By. When selected, the Include Discontinued Students check box includes, in the Mark/Grade Entry screen, the records of students who have discontinued the unit. Select the Enter Grades button to display the Mark/Grade Entry screen. The screen displays all students enrolled in the unit before or after the mark sheet was produced. (The Add Student button is disabled). The Add Non-Enrolled Student button invokes the Add Non-Enrolled Student Outcome form (ASSF5333) where details of students who have been added to the result sheet but are not displayed in the Mark/Grade Entry screen can be recorded. |
