Rollbook Types

A number of different Rollbook Types are available in Callista. These are:

• Multi Unit
• Single Student
• Single Unit

Multi Unit rollbooks are the rollbooks that would typically used by a staff member conducting a training program which includes a number of units. Each student in the class would be included in the rollbook and each component unit in the program would would be included. These rollbooks may be rolled over at the end of one instance of the program and a new set of students recorded for the next instance of the program - see the Copy Rollbook help page.

Single student rollbooks would be created for students whose individual program varies from the standard one recorded in the Multi Unit rollbook. These rollbooks are created for a single student and can be created new (see the Creating a Rollbook page), or be a modified copy of an existing rollbook (see the Copy Rollbook page). Only one student can be included in this type of rollbook, however multiple units can be included.

Single Unit Rollbooks are used for training program which is taught as a single unit. This type of rollbook would typically contain multiple students but only one unit.
