GENW0040 - Style Classes

Table of Contents

Overview

This page is used to create or maintain institution-defined Style Classes that are used to define the appearance of elements used in web pages, such as, font and colour.

A Style Class is a rule that is referenced within a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) and denotes the presentational attributes of HTML pages, such as colour, fonts and layout.
For example, when a Style Class is defined for an element of a Course Plan Structure (see CRSW1030 and CRSW1080) it determines how that element is displayed on the institution’s public-facing Course Plan Enquiry web page.

The GENW0040 page is one of a number of General System pages and may be used in multiple subsystems.
