Training Plan Text Type
Use this page to create, delete or change details for institution-defined Training Plan Text Types. These are used to help define the Text sections included in Training Plan Templates.
This page is reached via the Callista menu.
Each of these Training Plan Text Types must be mapped to a System Training Plan Text Type. In most cases it is possible to record multiple Training Plan Text Types that map to the same system Training Plan Text Type. However, if the system Training Plan text type has the generic text type indicator set to Y (meaning that it will appear on all Person Training Plans), then only one Training Plan text type can be mapped to that system type.
If the System Training Plan Text Type has the generic text type indicator set to Y, then a GEN lamp will display beside the System Training Plan Text Type.
Upon entry to this page, a list of Training Plan Approver Types is displayed.
Training Plan Approver Types can be created, viewed, edited and deleted without navigating from this page.

To add a new training plan text
1. Click on the 'New' button.
The New Training Plan Text page displays. Enter the required information. The red astericks denotes mandatory fields.
2. Click the Create button.
Once all details have been entered on the page, click the Create button and the new training plan text will be added to the list of available Training Plan Texts.
Editing an existing Training Plan Text
1. Locate the Training Plan Text
You can filter the list of availble training plan texts by clicking on the list heading.
You can filter on the following headings:
Click the up pointing arrow to sort in ascending order or the down arrow to sort in descending order.
2. Click on the Training Plan Text Code
Once you've located the Training Plan Text to edit, click on the code in the Training Plan Text Code field to display the record.
3. Make your edits
Once the record is open you can update any field except the Training Plan Text Code.
An Undo Edits button is available if you need to clear the changes you've made to the record.
4. Click Save to apply your changes to the record.
You can either commit your changes by clicking Save or Cancel to abandon all changes and return to the Training Plan Texts page.
To delete a Training Plan Text
1. Locate the Training Plan Text
You can filter the list of availble training plan texts by clicking on the list heading.
You can filter on the following headings:
Click the up pointing arrow to sort in ascending order or the down arrow to sort in descending order.
2. Click on the Training Plan Text Code
Once you've located the Training Plan Text to edit, click on the code in the Training Plan Text Code field to display the record.
To delete multiple records, hold the CTRL key down and select each Training Plan Text to be deleted.
3. Click on the Delete button
When you click Delete, you'll be asked to confirm the deletion of the selected record(s) by clicking OK. To abandon the action click Cancel.
