The knowledge that students have satisfied all academic requirements for their course is integral to the Progression and Graduation Subsystem. A student cannot be allowed to receive an Award unless he/she has completed all the requirements set by the academic body that oversees the course and award. This form is used to set the Course Requirements Complete check box. To assist in determining whether the student has completed course requirements, the Course Version Completion Rule can be tested using PRGF9030 - Inquire on Student Completion. The Course Requirements Complete check box value is used by the Graduation Subsystem when identifying those students who are eligible to graduate. When the job Assign Graduand Status (GRDJ3140) is run as part of Graduation processing, it checks the value of the Course Requirements Complete check box. Where a potential Graduand's Student Course Attempt record has had this check box set to Y since the previous run of the job, that Graduand's status is updated to the System Status of ELIGIBLE. Similarly, where an eligible Graduand's Student Course Attempt record has had the check box reset to N since the previous running of the job, that Graduand's Status is updated to the System Status of POTENTIAL. This checking of the check box is also carried out by the System, when the manual update of Graduand Status is attempted in GRDF4200. |

Rules/Notes: Currently/Future/Total Enrolled Achievable Credit Points convey that the student is enrolled in units which, if passed, will provide the specified number of Achieved Credit Points. Do not confuse with Enrolled Credit Points. The Rules process firstly looks for Override Achievable Credit Points, and if a values doesn't exist, it looks for Achievable Credit Points. If this doesn't exist, then it gets Enrolled Credit Points. |

Rules/Notes: The only field in either block that can be modified, is the Requirements Complete check box. If the number of Credit Points achieved is less than the minimum number required to complete course requirements, a warning displays. (The number required is recorded for a course version in CRSF1210) The check box cannot be changed if the SCA Status is COMPLETED and the student's Graduand Record has the status GRADUATED.

Alternative Exit:An alternative exit record may be created when a student has not completed the requirements for their current Course Attempt, but has completed those components of the course which qualify the student for an alternative Award. For example a student may have partially completed an undergraduate degree, for which they decide to take out an alternative Diploma Award, rather than finish all the course requirements and take out a degree. To create an alternative exit, navigate to the overlay screen. Select an Alternative Award from the List of Values. (These alternative Course Awards are set up in CRSF1240 - Maintain Course Alternative Exits) The Requirements Complete check box should be set, if the student satisfies the course requirements for this Alternative Award. The Completion Source Type is automatically set to MANUAL. Course Awards: The
