Unit Rules Todos

When changes are made to a student course or unit attempt details, a Unit Rules todo may be generated. These todos flag that student course attempt to have enrolment rules checked when ENRJ0010 is next run. Only one Unit Rules todo can exist for a particular Student Course Attempt at any one time and such a todo is logically deleted if ENRJ0010 is run with parameters that cause the Enrolment rules to be checked for that Student Course Attempt and with Status Update Override not set to N.

The sort of changes which may generate a Unit-Rules todo for a Student Course Attempt include the following:

Enrolment details:

• When the unit attempt is confirmed, or the unit attempt status is changed to something other than DISCONTIN or INVALID
• When rules are waived for a unit attempt, or when a previously applied rule waiver is removed
• When changing the enrolled credit points, achievable credit points or EFTSL values are overridden for a student unit attempt
• When a student unit attempt is changed from ENROLLED to UNCONFIRM
• When a student unit attempt is discontinued or the administrative unit status of a unit attempt is otherwise changed
• When an enrolled student unit attempt is deleted
• When a finalised unit attempt outcome is recorded.

Advanced Standing:

• When Unit, or Unit Level, Advanced Standing details are changed for the Student Course Attempt

Unit Set Attempt:

• When changes are made to the Confirmed, Completed or Primary Unit Set indicators in a student's Unit Set Attempt details

Student Course Attempt Special Requirements

• When Student Course Attempt Special Requirement details are created or modified.

Unit results

• When a finalised Student Unit Attempt outcome is created or modified

Unit Version details:

• When a unit, that is being taken in the course attempt, has changes made to its Enrolled Credit Points, Achievable Credit Points, Owning Org Unit, Unit Level or Repeatable indicator

Unit Version Rules:

• When a unit version, that is being taken in the course attempt, has changes made to its Unit Version Rules

Course Version Rules:

• When the course version has changes made to its Course Version Rules

S_TODO_CONTROL Table

The generation of some Unit-Rules todos can be turned off in the s_todo_contol table. If the control value for a given control_item = Y, then Unit-Rules todos will be generated and if the control value for a given control_item = N, then Unit-Rules todos will not be generated.
